This is one of the most beautiful Arabic songs ever recorded, in my opinion. The title means “We grew old together.” It is a conversation between a father (Wadi’ al-Safi) and his daughter (Najwa Karam). It is supremely tender and touching and showcases the emotional range of both singers. I have done my best to translate the words, which are in the Lebanese dialect.
